    Privacy Policy

    What Astro Developments Inc. collects through this website, why, where it is kept, and how to reach us about it. Effective October 16, 2026.

    Astro Developments Inc. is a managed IT and web design company based in Surrey, BC. We work with businesses across the Lower Mainland. This policy covers the personal information you give us through astrodevelopments.ca. We handle it under British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act.

    What we collect and why

    • Contact form and Free IT Tools email form. Your name, company, email, phone, the service you are asking about and your message, plus your trade on the tools form. We use these to reply to you. Submissions reach us by email and are kept in our business records.
    • Ask Astro request form. Your name, email, phone, city, what you need, when you need it, the best time to reach you, and a website address if you ask for a website check. We also record the page you were on, any campaign tags in the address, and a hashed version of your IP address with your consent record. A hash cannot be turned back into the address. We use this to respond to your request. We send occasional updates only if you tick that separate box, and you can unsubscribe at any time. These requests are stored with our database provider, Supabase, in its Canadian region in Montreal. Requests that do not become a client relationship are deleted after 24 months. A record of marketing consent is kept for three years.
    • Booking a consultation. Bookings are made through Calendly and are covered by Calendly's own privacy policy.
    • Website analytics. We use Google Analytics and Cloudflare Web Analytics to see which pages are read. Cloudflare Web Analytics does not use cookies. Google Analytics uses cookies, and you can block them in your browser.
    • Spam protection. Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a request comes from a person.

    Who can see it

    Astro staff who handle your request. Our service providers process information on our behalf: Cloudflare for hosting and spam checks, Supabase for storage, Resend for email delivery, Google for website forms and analytics, and Calendly for bookings. Cloudflare and Google may process information outside Canada. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with anyone else unless the law requires it.

    How we protect it

    The site and its forms use HTTPS. Access to submissions is limited to the people who need it to reply to you. Form entries are checked before they are stored, and IP addresses are kept only as a hash.

    Your choices

    You can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can withdraw consent to marketing email at any time. Email [email protected] or call 778-895-6072. Our privacy officer is Ripan Mann. You can also use the contact page.

    Changes to this policy

    If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and its effective date.
